The team at Hitchin Town Youth FC are committed to doing everything we can to create a safe, secure, enjoyable and friendly environment for all children who play for the club. Here are the details of how we safeguard child welfare.
Tara Mullaney is Hitchin Town Youth's Chief Welfare Officer. She leads our efforts on ensuring the club is compliant with all FA welfare regulations, and our players whether they are just starting out, or experienced, are supported, protected and central to everything the club does.
If a player, parent or Coach has any concerns regarding the wellbeing of a child connected with Hitchin Town Youth FC please do not hesitate to confidentially contact Tara in the first instance.
Eddy Selby is Hitchin Town Youth's Safeguarding Officer and he also helps as our Assistant Welfare Officer. Eddy ensures all our Coaches's certifications are up to date and helps new Coaches get qualified.
As you can tell he quite likes Hitchin Town Youth FC, and you can regularly see him up at Top Field watching the senior team.
If you have a question regarding Safeguarding or would like to report something you have seen that breaks the FA Codes Of Conduct, please get in touch with Eddy.
